We arrived in Zanzibar almost by chance, but it didn’t take long to fall in love with this extraordinary island, and our children were the first to be enchanted. What was meant to be a simple holiday home, a refuge where we could rediscover calm and authenticity, soon became something more.
Over time, we immersed ourselves in the daily life of the island, welcomed by its community and its gentle, unhurried rhythm. That’s when we asked ourselves: why not share all of this with other travellers?
From a dream born from the pure imagination of our children came Omnya, a word that in Arabic means “dream”.
